This term Mr Geddes and Ms Spence have been coaching after school octopush for the primary 7 students who want to give it a try.
First of all you have to get comfortable with a snorkel and mask and learn how to duck dive.
Then you have to learn how to use the puck and bat on the bottom of the pool.

Everyone gets a turn to play a game in a team.
Some of the older KGS octopush players come to help.
Abbie and Thorfinn remember starting out in P7 with Mr Geddes.
It looks like great fun and quite challenging. I guess you need a lot of confidence in the water.Impressive photos!Well done p7 for giving it a go and I hope you will carry on with it when you go to KGS.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos. The pupils love playing the game . Most hope to have the opportunity to develop their playing skills further at KGS.
